Xbox 720 will require a constant Internet connection

Back in February the rumors started that Microsoft wants the Xbox 720 (new xbox) to be constantly connected to the Internet. With this, they could effectively fight piracy...

This week, in public came out program that contains details about the new hardware that is given to gaming study, popularly called XDK (Xbox Development Kit). When installing the XDK, install and help document that contains details about the specifications of Durango, code-name of the new Xbox. Emphasizing that this information is preliminary and it is likely that will change in the future.

The first important detail is that all the games will probably have to be installed on the hard disk. The document says that the console will have a huge hard drive that you can install a large number of games and also supports Blu-Ray technology. All games will be on Blu-Ray, they must also be installed on the hard disk, but you can start playing during installation (similar to the system that Sony has plans for PlayStation 4).

In another section of the document states that the console will always be played and connect to the internet. Console will reportedly consume very little power and no need to turn off.

What is worrying is that the console will have to be connected to the Internet at any time. Microsoft justifies this by saying that "in this way the console will always have the latest updates," but the reverse order to fight piracy. Because the game will be installed, probably it would be easy to give the game to some of your friends. Therefore, you will be required to activate the game online to continue.
