More than 200 websites in the U.S. at the moment are dimmed and will remain so throughout the day, as a protest against the controversial law CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protect Act).

Anonymous

This came after anonymous urged owners of websites today to "blot out" their content. That way they have to express their protest by voting law CISPA, which allows private companies and the U.S. government exchange of private information about Internet users without any orders and responsibilities.

At the beginning of last year millions of Internet users stood against legislation like SOPA, CISPA and ACTA, and they were joined by some of the most famous websites like Wikipedia, Google and Reddit that one day he "dimmed" the content of their pages to show what kind of future awaits the Internet if passed such laws.

However, before this law came into force, it must pass the Senate and be signed by President Barack Obama, and groups for privacy and organization as Anonymous decided to put pressure on politicians to prohibit the adoption of this law.
